I appeared on the LGBT Hotline show on Chicago’s Public Access Channel CANTV.  The show is sponsored by the Civil Rights Agenda.  In this show I talk about my position as the TransWorks Coordinator of the TransLife Center’s employment program.  TransWorks and the TransLife Center are all programs from Chicago House and Social Service Agency.  Chicago House, previously known as primarily an HIV/AIDS organization, Chicago House has expanded it’s mission to address the needs of Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming people, including healthcare, housing, employment, and legal services.  I have developed a 3 week Job Readiness workshop launching Sept. 23rd and work one on one with participants, providing career coaching services.
