I believe that black queer media is essential to creating empathy towards Black queer and trans people across the diaspora, all around the world. Black queer and trans media has become a powerful tool to help fight the discrimination and hate we continue face.
In this Instagram Live interview Angelica Ross remind us all how powerful we are and share how, with her Buddhist practice, she’s been able to not only accomplish her dreams but also be a source of inspiration, especially for trans and gender-nonconforming people. In her own words, she shares what having Buddhability means: “You understand how to be free in what seems to be the most limiting circumstances. And then, over time, you will be able to see the changes of how you are able to rise up out of those circumstances.” With Buddhability, we can be fearless.
