Apologies to our Mother’s

I recently ran across a video re-posted by Monica Roberts of Transgriot, called “I’m Sorry for Killing Your Daughter?” It is a poetic letter written by an African American Transgender Man to his father who is a pastor of a church. This video struck a nerve with me. At 31, years of age I live my life unapologetically. But this video has got me thinking that even though I’m sure i’ve apologized in the past, I’m not sure I ever communicated as compassionately as this video does.
